Privacy Policy

We do not collect your GPS location, microphone input, camera feed, or contacts.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and profile
• Power the tournament, team, and player features of the app
• Generate fixtures, standings, and match statistics
• Send push notifications about matches, invitations, and roster updates (you can opt out)
• Respond to support requests and account recovery inquiries
• Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service
• Analyse aggregate, anonymised usage to improve the product

We do not use your data to serve third-party advertisements.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

Other users: Your public profile (display name, avatar, player card) is visible to users within tournaments you participate in. You control your player card's draft visibility.

Cloud hosting provider: Our database and authentication infrastructure, operating under a data processing agreement with appropriate security standards.

Apple / Google: Push notification delivery.

Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Playmaker App or others.

Note: Tournament match results and scores are public data accessible by all tournament participants and spectators.

Your data is stored on our cloud infrastructure. We implement the following:

• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2+
• All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256
• Access controls ensure users can only access their own data
• Authentication tokens are short-lived and stored securely on-device
• No passwords are stored in plain text - authentication uses hashed credentials or magic links

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active.

When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account):

• Your display name is replaced with "Deleted User"
• Your username is anonymised (e.g., deleted_a1b2c3d4)
• Your avatar, phone number, and player attributes are erased
• Your email address remains in our auth system to block re-registration
• Match history, tournament results, and scores are retained because they are public sports records relied upon by other participants

Account recovery is possible within 30 days of deletion by emailing [email protected]. After restoration, your tournament and match history reconnects automatically. Your profile details will need to be re-entered.

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time via Settings, or by contacting us. Account deletion and profile anonymisation are available in Settings → Delete Account. You can disable push notifications in Settings → Notifications.

Playmaker App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Users between 13 and 18 require parental consent.

Playmaker App integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Apple App Store - App distribution. apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google Play Store - App distribution. policies.google.com/privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, sending a notification via the app.

Your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
